What happens when you compare files

• You choose the previous and current .pptx files.
• Your browser reads their PowerPoint package contents locally.
• The comparison result remains in the current browser session.
• Closing or refreshing the page clears the active comparison.

Reports and clipboard actions

Exported reports are created by your browser and downloaded to the location you choose. Copying a change summary uses your browser's clipboard. SlideOnPoint does not retain either item.

Current telemetry

SlideOnPoint records limited first-party account and product events in Supabase, including visits, visible-tab activity time, completed comparisons, device category, and approximate country. With your permission, Google Analytics 4 also measures website traffic and acquisition. File names, slide text, images, notes, and presentation contents are never included in analytics events.

Current limits

SlideOnPoint accepts modern .pptx files up to 100 MB. Advanced PowerPoint features—such as SmartArt, grouped objects and embedded media—use nested or application-specific structures that cannot always be fully reproduced outside PowerPoint. We recommend verifying these elements in the original presentation.

Account and usage data

Account authentication and usage allowances are handled separately from presentation comparison. Supabase stores limited account and comparison-count information. SlideOnPoint does not store your presentation data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
